Duplicate images

Has anyone else had problems with the stock camera/gallery app creating duplicate images. I take a picture and suddenly I have two. Doesn't matter which camera.
I haven't noticed it with 3rd party apps, like kik, etc. Just the stock camera. This was with KitKat and now again with Lollipop
ideas?
