i just want to come out in a public space and say that i am omnisexual and non-binary. i want the feeling of getting to say it out loud and be proud of myself for saying it here, because i can’t say it out loud in my personal online space. i’m surrounded by family that is religious and homophobic. i have friends who have openly expressed their attitudes against lgbtq people in front of me without even knowing how harmful it is to me. and i know others who share posts online about how “dangerous” lgbtq people are. i’m here because i’ve always wanted to say it and be proud of it while it’s not safe to do so in my personal life.
