This morning, my dad made a comment about "So now there's demigirl and demiboy? What even is that?" and went on with his day. I think he opened up Microsoft edge and saw an article for Pride or something, idk. Point is, I got curious and looked it up, and now I think I might be a demigirl? I'm 22 (going to be 23 on the 9th!), AFAB. Over the last year or so I've starting thinking about non-binary gender identities, but nothing really fit. I definitely feel feminine sometimes, I like my body and I'm proud of the hard work women have done to come out of oppression. Aaand, since I got a pixie cut two years ago, I've enjoyed it when people accidentally use they pronouns for me or when they aren't immediately sure if I'm female or not. I also don't agree with all of the gender roles assigned to women. So today, when I looked up demigirl after my dad mentioned it, I thought it might be a fit. Mostly girl, a bit non-binary or agender. Now it's only day one of exploring this identity, but who knows!
