Just as an FYI there is a website called Mutual eternal love or MEL that looks super legit and says they provide safe meetups for lgbt people by verifying age and stuff.
They asked for my card and I gave it to them because they had an option to pay zero dollars as part of a free membership thing and do a subscription charge after the first month. I didn’t suspect anything because most dating sites have some sort of charge. Turns out they tried to charge me $40 and my bank stoped that and the guy I was talking to delete our conversations.
I just wanted to put this post here because I could not find any evidence of it being a scam or anyone talking about this site ever online, so learn from me and be safe!
