Iām a 24 year old bi dude who goes by he/him pronouns. Iāve struggled with self-esteem issues regarding my own masculinity and not feeling masculine enough but most people seem to perceive me as masculine and Iām okay with it.
That being said, as Iāve gotten older, Iāve put more thought into my perception of my own gender. I donāt experience dysphoria or anything, but I donāt consider the man label to be super crucial to my overall identity.
Letās say I woke up in a parallel universe where I was AFAB and raised as a girl, but my brain from the āregularā dimension was in that body. I donāt think Iād experience any dysphoria. I think Iād be totally cool with being a woman, but Iām comfortable enough being a man to the point where transitioning doesnāt feel remotely necessary.
Is there a name for this? Am I gender neutral, genderqueer? Should I consider going by he/they?
