Lost an old friend over homophobia :(
Post Body

I had an old friend that told me she didn't agree with LGBT people. I wanted to chat with her about since I'm bisexual and wanted to know more about why she thought that way. She told me that it's a sin but that she isn't judging me for being bisexual. You can't say your not judging AND that I'm going to hell it just doesn't work that way. She also kept saying "them" about the LGBT community as if I wasn't apart of it and telling me that she hopes I find truth one day and love myself as much as I say I do... I told her I couldn't be friends with someone that thought that why about me and she didn't seem to understand why?? Very "I know God and that's the ultimate truth" type personality. I'm all for people who want to be religious being religious if that's what makes you feel good but it's her truth not mine and it's sad that some people are willing to lose people over something you can't see, feel, or talk to.
