Can’t say the words to come out
Post Body

I am talking to a girl and really want to date her. She really likes me too and wants the same thing. My parents disapprove and I know this but I live with them until I move out again for school in the fall. I’m worried they won’t let me use their car to go see her if they know what I’m really doing.

I don’t think I can say the words “I am interested in dating a girl I’m talking to”. Physically I don’t think I can say that. They know I’m bisexual but they think it’s something I “struggle” with since I’ve only dated one person and it was a guy. If I were accepting of this part of myself I think it would disturb them. They wouldn’t disown me or anything but I know I will feel this rejection deeply, even knowing it’s coming.

I’m sure they’ll ask where I met her but I met her on Hinge, and that’s a whole other level. I SOUGHT OUT a girl to date. I’m so scared but I really want to do it tonight or tomorrow because my brother is visiting.

Just lie to them! They don't need to know you're dating a girl. Just say it's a friend. My parents know I'm gay but even then I don't tell them who I'm dating or whatever it's just not their business :),
