So, I (Bi-M) was in a disagreement with my friend (MtF). It was about cishet men. She and I recently met a cishet man who we both seemed to like. He asked for our numbers so we could continue talking. I gave him mine almost immediately, but my friend wouldn’t. That was fine of course, it's her phone number. But when I asked her about it later, she told me that what I did was wrong, and that I shouldn’t trust a cishet man so much. I said that I had no problem with the guy, as I and my friend were both pretty open at the time about our identities, and he seemed nice. I said that not all cishet men are monsters, and she countered me by saying in her experience, cishet men are the worst people on Earth and that no one apart of the community should trust them. I said this was bigoted, and that some of my greatest supporters in my initial journey were my cishet male friends pushing me to be me, and that not all cishet men are bad. Maybe it's different perspectives as I am a Bisexual man who doesn’t usually display very queer, whereas she does. I just can’t get over it. I feel like the only way we could move forward in society is to be accepted, and that takes trust in Cishet people such as Cishet males. Maybe I'm overthinking it, and worrying about a larger ideological goal than her feelings at the time, but I still disagree. I like allies and believe Cishet men can be allies. Even if widespread acceptance from that demographic isn’t there, I would still like to believe that we can achieve that. And a huge part of that is acceptance of the good nature of all humans

The question about "is this a bigoted" is becoming "it doesn't count as bigoted." People, you can state all of the VERY LEGITIMATE reasons, but you can't judge an entire group of people with one sweeping opinion. That's what fucking bigotry is!
