Hey there, my name's Ant, a Pathfinder GM of 8 years and current house hermit as many people have become in the past year.

With things unfortunately ramping up, I've found myself with far too much time on my hands, so I decided to try my hand at running a virtual tabletop as opposed to a real one.

For those of you wondering why this is a paid game, it's due to said 'too much time' on my hands. I assure you that the experience is worth it, as I put plenty of work into not only preparing adventure paths, but also into fixing several mistakes that are common in Paizo books (which I often refer to as Paizoisms, looking at you Monkey Lunge).

Without further ado, welcome to Paizo's very first Adventure Path, Rise of the Runelords!

Five years after a tragic fire and spate of brutal murders, the people of Sandpoint eagerly anticipate the Swallowtail Festival to commemorate the consecration of the town's new temple. At the height of the ceremony, disaster strikes! In the days that follow, a sinister shadow settles over Sandpoint. Rumors of goblin armies and wrathful monsters in forgotten ruins have set the populace on edge. As Sandpoint's newest heroes, the PCs must deal with treachery, goblins, and the rising threat of a forgotten empire whose cruel and despotic rulers might not be as dead as history records.

Character creation rules are as follows:

All 1st party Paizo content is available.

20 point buy

No race restrictions, but you should strive to stick to races with 11 or less RP for the sake of balance.

2 traits, one of which must be a campaign trait from the Rise of the Runelords Player's Guide

Average Starting gold for class

Elephant in the Room Feat Tax rules (if you're not familiar with these you can look them up on google).

Communication will be done through Discord, so feel free to send me your Discord ID and I'll add you to the group once I'm able to.

There will be a session 0 on February 13th, so you can wait until then to make your character as well as asking any questions you'd like to.
