I (25M) and my girlfriend (20F) and a friend are looking to join a campaign that will take place on Fridays-Sundays pretty much anytime after 7 pm. I am pretty seasoned in terms of DND I run my own campaign for a year now and she is brand-spankin' new to the hobby! I wanted to show her how fun it can be.
Here's some of the things we can bring to your table!
- We're always on time and any cancelations would be notated ahead of time before the session. None of those last-minute roll calls: "Hey! sorry guys won't be here!"
- We both love deep character roleplay/character progression. Creating characters that fit directly into your world is our thang.
- Perfect duo for someone who wants some new players and long-term veterans who love teaching the game.
- We would work well with any group as long as they're respectful of others.
Heres our character ideas!
I wanted to play as a Vengeance Paladin that's inspired by characters like Siegfreid from Soul Calibur, John Constanine from the movie Constanine, a little bit of Arthas from World of Warcraft, Dante from Dante's Inferno, Talion from Shadow of Mordor. Basically, this man was a paladin to an order/army kingdom and he has led astray to what he believed was a holy crusade/just cause and eventually died on the battlefield as he was dying he realized that he was blinded to the betrayal that was perpetrated by his leadership. On the verge of passing on a voice whispered to him seducing him with the prospect of prolonging his life to get revenge. It was a cursed weapon and corrupted his soul.
She wanted to play a Tiefling Wild Magic Sorcerer who got her aptitude for magic passed down to her by her family. They kept this secret from her until an incident happened where she discovered her abilities and accidentally killed a family member. She was incarcerated for 12 years and during this time she began to become very bitter toward her family for keeping it a secret from her. If it wasn't for the friendly guard who gave the child a lute to preoccupy herself during this period she would surely have gone insane. Now released back into the world she seeks answers from her parents.
