The city of Santa Rosa nestled in the midst of California has everything you need at fingertips reach. Within the city it has stores and restaurants, a spacious two story mall, and parks perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. There is a college with a lush green campus, a movie theater where families congregate on weekends, and an indoor ice skating rink. The ocean is about an hour to the west, Snow covered mountains a few hours to the north, and the beautiful city of San Fransisco two hours south. It’s a place where people of all demographics live and all in all it is quite normal, or so people like to think. You are one of the small few who have token notice of the oddities of the area. Maybe you keep what you see to yourself. Maybe you tell others and are discouraged by their dismissive responses. Either way your noticing hasn’t gone unnoticed and so you receive a life changing letter from an unknown Mr. Peculiar inviting you to join him on the adventure of a lifetime or to slink back into the dark world of ignorance. Will you accept his offer?

This is a Monster of the Week campaign where you play a group of Monster Hunters hired by a strange man and tasked with solving the mysterious happenings spreading through California. The game is open for experienced players or new players. Playbooks are limited to the core Motw playbooks.

Players should expect a good mix of mystery, horror, and a large helping of humor. The point of the game is to have fun and get along with your fellow players. No jerks allowed. Besides from that everyone is welcome.

We will have games weekly on Thursdays at 4pm pst starting with a session zero on Thursday July 21st. Games will be held on a private discord server and will average at between two and three hours each.
