Good day, people of reddit! I'm Saintssea and I'm looking for some new people to bring together for a new campaign I'm working on. I'm located in DFW, TX. So far it's just me and the roomie, but I'm hoping to have a minimum of 4 but would like to try 6 people. I've been playing 5e for the last 4 years now and DM'ing the last year or so. Looking to have people that are story driven and looking to stir up some trouble in my little world. I am open to new players! I Love showing my love for this game to new people.

Ideal Candidates: 21 , communicative, engaging, open minded, creative, helpful, responsive, Roleplaying

Tone of Campaign: The tone will be fantastical, with darker moments. Light and humorists when needs be. There are things going on in the world, so the story revolves heavily around how the Player's respond to it. Will you go charging in to investigate and be heroes or mind your own and simply try to keep yourself and your own safe. Player's backstories will be weaved into the story its your world as much as mine. The world will change with each of the Player's characters being introduced.

World: The Campaign will be set in one small corner of the world, in the continent of Dulur. The world pulls inspiration from the middle east and certain Asian regions in my attempt to bring DnD out of the Eurocentric world its typically set in. (Please correct me and educate me as I'm learning as I go.) The world is High Fantasy with restrictions as there have been a lot of events stemming from the malicious of magic. The continent where you will be playing is home to all races and peoples of DnD.

House rules: We'll discuss these as we go.

Style of Play: 60/40 split between RP and combat respectively, simultaneously going through stories relating to character's backstories as well as the larger story of Dulur. Now I know RP is not everyone thing so I hope this doesn't steer anyone away. We're here to have fun after all, no pressure. What ever you choose to do, the world will be changing as your choice usually has an impact; good or bad.

Game Date/Time/Location: We've been playing on Thursday and Friday as of late after 7:00 PM but we are open to scheduling a day where everyone's free. We will also be hosting the game in our home which is in Far North Dallas.

How do you apply? :

-Please send a Message/DM (not Reddit chat) or send me a message on Discord (SaintsSea#8909) answering the following questions :

-Brief description of yourself (including preferred Pronouns) - age, location, hobbies etc.

-Experience with D&D. Please include length/number of campaigns as a Player/DM

-Favorite/least favorite aspects of D&D

-Preferred Class/Race to Play if youโ€™re invited to join us

-Any unacceptable plot elements/scenarios/topics for you

-Discord name

I'm planning on doing some voice calls once we have enough applications, just to chat and see how the vibe is.

Once I've chosen people, I'll run a few practice sessions just so everyone can see whether the group is right for you. Feel free to ask me any questions through the process and I'll try to answer them within a resonable time frame.
