I've exclusively DM'd since I first got into Pathfinder and than 5E, and would love to ultimately be a player for once. I don't have a particular character in mind, I'd much rather play a supporting role that needs filled for party balance. Given that I'm experienced as far as 5E goes I don't really have much preference to module, homebrew, or etc; however, I would not be interested in Lost Mines due to running it frequently for beginner groups over the years.
A little about myself:
- 28 Years old located in EST time zone, and I work until 4:30-5PM EST Monday through Friday.
- Currently am DM'ing a few groups and my available days would be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Weekends depending on time
- As far as times go, I'm very much a night owl and would place a preference on later start times compared to early starting games, especially with summer coming up and the work around the house I'll have to do during the day. It would just give me time to relax and decompress prior to jumping into a session
- My only other major preference is that I would prefer to play with people my own age, for personal and comfortability reasons.
- I can either make a character outside prior to the game start working with the DM; however, I'd much prefer to do a traditional Session 0 where as a party we would discuss characters, creation, and party balance
- I always loved the idea of tying backstories together with a fellow party member!
- Not a metagamer, nor am I going to min-max my character, my ideas for character primarily revolve around them being a bit more complex and having some flaws rather than being idealist.
- I have a good microphone and just got a new webcam, although I generally don't use a webcam in online games I would be open just have to find a proper way to setup with my living arrangement.
- Other than that I'm really just looking to experience D&D from the other side of the DM screen for once, and am laid back with whatever adventure, modules, etc. we would be running.
If it sounds like I would be a good fit for a campaign please feel free to message me on Reddit, or through the chat function on Reddit. (Even if it's just for me to add you on Discord!)
