You are a prisoner of Tyvia, a cold region of ice and snow. What you’ve done and whether or not you deserved it are entirely up to you, but you’re here now and you want to escape and take your revenge.

The district democracy is a sham, and the true power is held by three judges, tyrants, who have sentenced you to a life of hard labor in the snow till you die slowly and alone. But you are not like most people, you shall escape with the help of other victims of the state. With your newfound allies, you shall reshape this land through blood, espionage, or even mercy.

Dishonored is an action stealth video game for which the rpg is based on. It’s best to know the games but not necessarily required if you are willing to learn the setting and its rules. The rule system is the official 2d20 dishonored rpg. The setting is low Magic, with each character receiving powers from a mysterious figure known as the outsider for the trickster’s pleasure.

The themes of the game include a grim setting but chance to improve it through your character’s actions. Wealth inequality, the struggle between new ideals of equality, expression, and self determination whether that be through gender identity, sexual orientation, or removal of class divides contrasted by harsh religious and social norms doing everything to maintain the status quo.

You will be challenged to make difficult decisions, work as a team with your fellow escapees, and enjoy the intensity of being on a knife’s edge of death and glory at all times. Your character is exceptional, but you are not a superhero or adventurer. You bleed the same as anyone else, and expect your character to suffer along their difficult journey.

Message me directly your character idea and tell me a bit about yourself as a player. I want players who respect and play into the setting, can handle the darker aspects of the dishonored universe, and play well with fellow Players and Gamemasters. Please include any triggers or things you may find disturbing and your pronouns, I take both matters very seriously.

I don’t require you to know the system right away and indeed it’s my first time running this system as well. I don’t mind helping people with character creation as long as you are willing to learn.
