Hey my name is Daniel as the username implies 23 turning 24 and Canadian if that at all matters, most people end up calling me Dan so either is fine. I've been responding to posts on here but have been seeing the absolute crazy amount of flip time for them with all of them being closed soon after I respond, I decided to post myself into the aether and I hope to be grabbed soon enough.
Since a lot of people put this up front I will say that I am LGBTQ friendly and do not tolerate bigotry of any kind, and my pronouns are he/him. As a person I'd say I'm pretty chill, with a slightly above average propensity for puns and wordplay given my age (I blame my father and namesake uncle), I generally find myself as someone who joins a conversation midstream as opposed who breaks the dam as it were.
As a player I often find I make blunt or earnest characters or some combination there of, I feel I come up with some interesting character concepts as well, my first true character being Gitone the Warforged wildfire Druid who I dearly hope to play again someday soon ( here are some other concepts https://www.reddit.com/r/dndnext/comments/omts89/anyone_else_stockpile_character_ideas/h5ouqr7/ )
While in the first campaign I played in I only made it to lvl 7 I feel I have a good grasp of the games flow and how to rp without stepping on toes I will admit at first since I was one of the "watched dnd before playing it" generation I meta'd a little bit but that went away with time ( shows TFS at the table, The unexpectables, Role with me, and The Prince Division), and have good base knowledge for concepts just have a need to finally immerse myself and complete a campaign.
For what I want out of the group I hope to join isn't too much
-I would prefer a homebrew world games, as the worlds of Faerun and the like are something while I would enjoy getting into, would probably given some behavior ticks involve getting nose to the grindstone in the entire lore and I don't have to money or time to do that.
-Long term campaign is another desire as well
-nothing too pc heavy for the table top software my laptop while newish doesn't handle anything higher fidelity then minecraft without chugging like crazy
-not a requirement but it'd be nice if some UA would be cool to play I'm absolutely fine if there's any tweaking that needs to be done in order for me to so, but not having UA subclasses available isn't a dealbreaker
and that's it really, I hope soon enough I can join some of you on a wonderful adventure, message me here for details.
Thanks again, Daniel
