The Nemin Operations - A Custom Only War Campaign

Howdy everyone! My friends and I are about to kick off a new campaign set in the "Only War" RPG setting. There's a bit of homebrew involved but nothing too crazy. We're mostly just looking to have a good time, but we take the roleplay as seriously as one can given the absolute shenanigans that tend to occur in this setting.

Campaign Information

If you're new to Only War you won't be alone, and we have a mix of veterans that will happily help you along the way. In addition, we do use Tabletop Simulator instead of Roll20 but will help any new users get acquainted.

We currently have 3 players with some auxiliary players that will occasionally pop in to help the party throughout the campaign. We're looking for about 2 or 3 additional players, but can potentially accommodate more if people are interested.

Our primary timezone is EST but we've got some folks from all over the place.

We have a server on Discord and we use Tabletop Simulator for our sessions. If you're not familiar with those programs we're happy to help you get introduced.

Some flavor about the Only War setting of the Warhammer 40k universe:

On a million, million worlds across thousands of light years of space, humanity fights endlessly for his survival against aliens, heretics, and daemons. From the blood-drenched mud of frontier worlds to the cold depths of space, the innumerable armies of the Imperium of Man are at constant war with the galaxy, fighting threats from without, from within, and from beyond.

Some soldiers are forced unwillingly into combat by an uncaring bureaucracy, while for others, the defence of the Imperium is a matter of personal duty. Whether by choice or chance, these men and women are inducted into the God-Emperor's armies, trained to fight and sent off to far flung stars and systems to hold the line against the coming night. Whatever their origins, whatever their reasons or training, they are the thin line that protects the Imperium from complete and utter destruction.
