Hello, I'm an reasonably experienced player looking for a long-term D&D 5e game to join. Either you're starting a new one, or you want to add someone to a game because you had someone flake or otherwise have to leave (it happens).
I am available to join a game that runs weekly any weeknight *except* Thursday, with a window of availability starting at 4:30PM PST all the way to 12:00AM PST or even a bit beyond. I'm into pretty standard fantasy worlds, so if you set it in Faerun, Wildemount, or a similar homebrewed area, I'll be down.
I've been playing for a little over 2 years now, in an offline game that is stuttering in the transition to online mode. So I'm looking to add another game, but don't think I'm only doing this because I'm quarantined. I would like a game that will go beyond that period, which is why I'm being careful to only join a game that will work for me now and in the future.
I enjoy roleplaying my character not with a goofy voice or accent, but with a thought to the personality and potential growth of a character. My characters all have reasons to be a part of a group and go adventuring (no lone wolf murderhobos here), but I try to consider how they might approach their situations in different ways. I enjoy working with DMs on collaborative stories, and making sure all players feel involved and included. I do not create useless characters but I also do not min-max the hell out of them, and I like to try to fill niches within the party that aren't otherwise filled mechanically through proficiencies and backgrounds. My favorite classes are monk and bard, but I'm willing to stretch out of my comfort zone as well. Of course I also enjoy thoughtful combat, quest solving, puzzles, and more.
I'm LGBTQ friendly and would love to join a game that isn't 100% straight men (although I am no help there, I am one myself). However, I also would join an all-male group as long as it remained respectful towards all and did not tolerate racism/sexism/etc. Also, looking for a 21 group, not for it to be 'R' rated but because I want to play with people closer to my age.
Get in touch! I've got the roll20 account, the discord account, and can probably join whatever else you might use.
