Character example below just a home brew backstory

Crystal was born in heaven as her mother looked over her child for the first time she notice a mark of a god but not of a god she quickly realized her child was a rare "Devine child" a child that could challenge a god and take over there position if they won against the god it's rare for a child of this nature to keep that right into there later years so the mother took crystal to the world below to a small village with a few children and a tight nite community crystals mother lived amount the humans for a while and raised crystal when crystal was 7 she was being bullied by a few boys when a child of the age of 6 came to her rescue and defended her this boy became her best friend and a bit of a guardian to her a year till her mother died mysteriously from an illness that couldn't be cured then the church of the god of [order] Came and took her away but before she left she have the boy a rock with the symbol from the back of her hand carved onto it making unbeknownst to them both at the time it was a way she could find him one day so she told him always keep it with him.

Years passed as the monks of the church tried to make her submit to any god forcing her to hear them preach day in and out till she 'took' to there preaching and become a priestessand claric of the order at 15 after a few years she was done with her training as she left wearing the gods symbols she 'took' to but never really giving in as she still could challenge a god the years of torture took there role on her she isn't a trusting person anymore maybe if she can find that bot he could help her trust again she sense the rock in a [town] so she heads there first hoping he still has it.
