Greetings Survivors!

I am currently running a walking dead RP session every Weds night at 10 PM EST. We stream the sessions over twitch and then post them on youtube. You can find the links in my subreddit r/shadowofsurvival.

I started with a group of 8 and we have all had a blast seeing how real world characters would survive an apocalypse but I need some more as some of my members have been nixed due to poor choices... listen to the streams for proof of how harsh I am on bad decision making.

My biggest request is diversity, I know reddit is mostly comprised of 20 something white neck beards but I really believe the apocalypse should include a multitude of individuals from diverse backgrounds, as survival is more about luck and perseverance then genes.

I am looking for one "minority" type character... this can be a minority in the sense of race or sexuality or even someone very devout to a religion... 7 of my 8 characters are atheists so I would rather have a very religious character. I have no gay characters and desperately want one in the group to mix things up. I also need 2 more female characters, as the only female I have in the group is feeling a bit out of place. I would also be willing to accept a married couple or someone that is VERY much older then our main group (45 ).

If you would like to submit an application to join the group I only need a few hundred words describing your character and how they have survived for the last 6 weeks and have found themselves in Aiken, South Carolina which is currently a refuge. Your ultimate goals are your own but you are interested in leaving this haven with the main group. I will not accept any characters that have a military background or are mcguiver types... the more flawed the better. I would kill for a lawyer, a nurse, a fast food worker...
