Greetings, intrepid adventurers one and all!

Are you an OSR veteran nostalgic for the days of perilous dungeons, deadly traps, and treasure hoards that beckon to be claimed? Or perhaps a newer player, seduced by your own curiosity to explore the roots tangled 'neath the foundations of modern day TTRPG design? Either way, if you're interested in a classic roleplaying experience with a kinky twist, then join me on an OSR-style Pathfinder 2e adventure.

Gameplay Style:

An OSR adventure embraces the spirit of a pre-5e, even pre-3e D&D game where emphasis is on the player's ability to manage their resources, evaluate risks, plan, and come up with creative solutions. It will be your ability (not necessarily your character's) to outwit, outplan, and sometimes outrun your foes that will see the party to success. By extension, you should be prepared to play a little loose with the PF2e rules- but the payoff for that is my freedom to reward player creativity.

This is a game about exploring and rewarding exploration. You, the players, should be driven to map the world. Your characters? They seek gold, pleasure, and whatever else drives that little bit of madness or desperation that pushes any adventurer to make the questionable decision of breaking the seal on an ancient tomb. But both of you should share the common desire to get out of the dungeon with as few cuts and bruises as possible. Fighting isn't necessary, and more often than not it won't even be a good idea.

What to Expect:

Playing Loose with the Rules: I'm interested in using PF2e for this because I like its character creation and action economy systems. However, I prefer to improvise on the fly when it comes to rulings and reward clever ideas. If you want to Stride and Strike, you'll just Stride and Strike. But if you want to parkour up the ledge and stab the cyclops in its eye, you'll have much better luck.

Roleplay By Doing, Not Saying: You don't need to be ready with a witty quip for every situation to play a cool character. There's no need to break out a thesaurus because your 18 INT Wizard wouldn't use words with less than five syllables. Instead, explore your character's mindset and motives through their choices and priorities. Go for the gold or save the prisoners first?

Try Not to Get Lost: Emphasis on dungeon-crawling and exploration above both combat and social intrigue. The party will be drawing their own maps based on descriptions given to them.

Prepare to Die: PCs won't have special plot armor. If you're afraid your PC might die, they're probably scared of death too. The best way for them to protect themselves is with good planning. But also, the death of one character doesn't mean the end of the adventure- the party lives on, and we have the opportunity to bring in a fresh face with new character dynamics.

Erotica, not ERP: Your character might find themselves bargaining with a horny minotaur, forced to crawl through a pit of tentacles, cursed with a need for seed, or in any number of other lewd situations. This sort of thing will come up often, but we'll be taking a middleground between fading to black VS ERPing out the particulars of every sex scene.

Consent and Safewords: It's critical that everyone feels like their boundaries are respected.

Session Details:

Platform: We'll use Roll20 for our sessions and Discord for out-of-session communication/RP.

Text: No need for a microphone or video cam in this game. Your ability to communicate through text will be a factor in whether you're accepted or not... so try to make a good first impression! :)

Length: Sessions will ideally run for 4-6 hours, depending on player availability.

Smut: To make the most of session time, there won't be any ERP during sessions. Go nuts with smut between sessions if you want, but expect smut to be skimmed over in passing during sessions.

Scheduling: Sessions will be held weekly on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evenings, starting around 5-7 PM depending on player availability.
