Her blood pools across the floor, somehow more red than the combined casualties of any war. Today was supposed to signify unity, the Goddess Mielikki, a Half Elf, wed to Solonor the full elven Deity. Celebration gave way to horror, and all eyes turn to her bodyguards. Somehow, her mortal companions managed to slay Mielikki, with all the evidence confirming their guilt. Except they didn’t. And now they are thrown deep into the depths of Carceri, the worst plane in all reality, a prison for traitors and those who cannot be slain. Only by escaping this nightmare world can the heroes prove their innocence, find the real culprit, and save their souls from utter damnation.

Brutal combat, a thrilling environment more terrible than Barovia or perhaps even the nine Hells, and a conspiracy of divine proportions awaits you! In this Forgotten Realms setting adventure, you are a hero subjected to a place only befitting the worst of villains. Fight Gehreleths, the fiend jailors of this dread land… and then fight them again! The horrible creatures refuse to remain dead, and upon slaughter you may meet them again, stronger and more driven to slay you! Build rivalries with recurring Gehreleths as you try to stay good in a place so devoid of light.

But who are you? In this Level 10 adventure, you are free to indulge in your epic backgrounds of grandeur and prestige. The child of a King? A prodigy wizard? A masterful druid? This game specifically plays into themes of elvenhood (especially half elves), naturalism, betrayal, and conspiracy. Keep these in mind when creating the perfect character for this game!

Darkness and horror abounds in Carceri, so please be an adult of at least 18 years and understand that this game will be both tactically challenging and involve great horrors in this plane of torture and decay.

Optional rules include automatic bonus progression, milestone leveling (you will always be the same level as all other party members, regardless of character death), and you will not drop any items upon dropping to zero hit points.

I am a Gamemaster who lives and dies by the roll of the Dice. I open roll nearly everything, and what is rolled is what is rolled. Enemies will always try to kill you if they believe they can, and if an enemy rolls three 20s in a row (or 1s), I do not fudge such rolls.

Games are every Monday, 6pm-10pm EST. Being able to make games consistently is essential, as is making characters that are fun for other players to interact with as well as run for. I demand excellency, and will attempt to meet it in turn! There will be no bigotry based on race, skin tone, sexuality, gender expression, or any other marginalization. You will be safe at my table, even if your characters certainly aren’t.
