About campaign: Genesys RPG in a homebrew fantasy setting. Sandbox, exploration-based game featuring hexcrawls and character-driven goals and emergent storytelling. Old school flavor with modern ideas and mechanics. Setting is dark fantasy/sword & sorcery with major influences being Dark Sun, Conan, Willow, and Fahfrd and Grey Mouser.

About GM: Been running RPGs for the better part of 25 years. Experienced in multiple systems, most recently 5E. A major influence on my style is Matt Colville. I love spontaneous interactions, improv, giving players problems and letting them create the solutions, world building, and a healthy dose of combat. I'm fair, I work with players to maximize their experience as long as it doesn't negatively impact others, and I don't suffer drama.

About the group: We are currently 4 players plus myself as GM. We are LGBT friendly. We have some veteran RPG players as well as some newer players. We value respect, good humor, communication, and engagement with one another’s characters. We strive to be drama free.

About you: You're mature, drama free, a team player, aren't planning to give me an extensive backstory, aren't going to end up on Crit Crab. You are willing to buy into the setting and interact with the other players. Experience with Genesys a plus, but not required. The ideal player is a self starter, creative, good at yes-anding, takes the game seriously but also has a flexible attitude. In my game, you get out of it what you put into it.
