Is it possible to feel effects after 5 days?

I started with 5mg on Tuesday and upped to 10mg yesterday per my doctor's instructions. Today I'm already feeling like I have more energy, am able to focus on the positive, and overall feel a lot better. I do have the headache, nausea, and insomnia initial side effects but I'm not even minding those. I feel like it's really unlikely it's the Lexapro already working and might just be a placebo effect? Or could it really be the medication? I've been on and off different SSRI/SSNI's for 20 years so I'd be thrilled if this was "the one" for me.
