I finally stood up to my work bullies
Post Body

One of them touched my things without permission; in front of an entire room of people I said, unbothered “stop touching those documents. Why are you just touching my things without communicating? Come on now” this was said to a work bully who I have avoided for months because she is violent and has tried to ruin my reputation/have me fired.

Someone else came by to micromanage me and hover over me/watch me work despite not being my management or leadership. Without missing a beat I said “please stop hovering. You’ll get the updates when they’re ready” they seemed upset, not because they were offended but because they didn’t expect me to stand up for myself. My whole team and my manager really try it everyday and now it doesn’t bother me as much because lexapro. I just wish I took this medication early in my career, would have saved me from so much stress and bullying all my life honestly.
