Increasing from 5MG to 10MG

I’m about to start my third week on Lexapro on Saturday. I started at 2.5MG for the first two days and slowly increased every two days until I was up to 5MG.

I have now been on 5MG for a whole week and have plans to increase to 10MG as recommended by my doctor.

How was the transition from 5MG to 10MG? Should I gradually increase?

The first day I took Lexapro, at 5MG I had vomiting/diarrhea but after I reduced down and slowly increased my side effects have been minimal/non-existent. I hope it will continue to be the same on 10MG.
