Lexapro and Brain Fog
Post Body

Hi all!

Started 5mg in December 2022, moved up to 10mg in January. I'm a writer and while lexapro has been outstanding for my OCD and anxiety, I've struggled with brain fog over the past few weeks, especially during PMS. It's really hard to have this when being in such a creative / cognitive career, but also I feel like I have more confidence with the lexapro -- which is also essential to this career.

My other side effects include fatigue (better if I take the lex at night) and decrease in sex drive (but some days are better than others). Those I can work with but the brain fog / decrease in cognitive ability is bad news for my career.

Does any have experience with this / suggestions for how to overcome it? Time, caffeine, a different med? I love that my OCD has decreased but man on man does the brain fog complicate things.
