In 2021 I was diagnosed with ALL Philadelphia chromosome positive, meaning I had to have a stem cell transplant in order to survive. Thankfully a donor was found, I did suffer with GVHD but as the months went on it wasn’t as prominent, I do have dry skin and I’ve noticed I get a lot more dandruff on my scalp than I used to.
Fast forward 3 years and I’m healthy which is all I can ask for. I went back to work but I received quite my job after being there a year as I didn’t like it.
I was just wondering if there’s any charities or anything like that that I could work for (volunteering) as I would love to help people going through a tough time having had leukaemia myself and very lucky to still be alive.
Take care guys and all the best!
