In my life, nobody told me they were proud of me. That I was able to accomplish great things just by being myself.
I never had a strong support system or people who actually believed in me. I was only there for myself.
You were the first person who said they were proud of me. And no matter how empty you made me feel at times, when you were proud of me, it made it all worth it. You told me how capable I was, how adaptable, I was. How much you loved me and how much I inspired you.
I just wish that inspiration could have been enough. I truly believed we could have made a great team under different circumstances. I will always love you for who you thought you could be.
