Sea serpents exist, maybe not in our realm of existence. Maybe that’s why we have so many monsters in our midst. We still embody their characteristics as souls, but not as physical beings.

Finding authenticity in a world of snakes isn’t the easiest to accomplish. You seem to have lost your personality some where along the road of Starbucks, scrunchies, and basic bitches, but it doesn’t mean you need to manipulate and use people for your own advantage.

I see the way you treat me differently, and and this point I’m convinced you see me as weird and awkward, or even a people pleaser. Hell, I do inhabit those characteristics, but I’m willing to give anything to the people who also give to me.

You give me anxiety and fear. It used to be a lot worse, but my aditude is starting to soften towards you. I’ve started to realize that it’s not your fault. We are all products created by society. Some of us were abandoned causing us to shy away from people, especially those who make us feel marginalized and unexcepted. and some of us were excepted to much, making us egotistical, where we are unable to be alone. Thinking we are better than everyone else because we what? simply had lots of attention? Now we think we deserve it.

What made you the way you are? A beautiful serpent with many faces. Unable to tell what’s the real you because you’ve been filling yourself with everything everyone else wants you to be.

I wish to see you free from that. So I’ll humble myself. I won’t let the way you treat me bring me down because I don’t owe you that satisfaction. I was considering looking for a new job because of you, but I have seen so much growth in myself working for our company, and I decided to use that to conquer my anxiety and fears towards you. I owe it to myself to start living for me, and so do you.

See who you are, not what other people created you to be. I believe in your whole authentic self, you should too.
