“Fall! I’ll catch you!” Being the cubby kid I was so nervous. I remember yelling “are you sure?” I fell, you caught me. I was on top of you and you landed on your back. I remember apologizing, I felt so bad.

I wonder if you ever remembered that when you started to fall for me… hehe. The next year I fell on your brother 🤦🏻‍♀️ but every year at camp, I’d hoped we’d be on the same team. Maybe I’d get to fall on you again. I know Emma fell on you that year, I was so jealous that you were on the same team. I remember asking her to talk to you about me LOL.

Did you notice me then? I like to think you did. That you were compelled to me before I was compelled to you. You did a great job at handling those boundaries tho. But you never failed to let me know that you were watching me just as much as I watched you.

You remember camp in 2018? When you walked around the whole tabernacle and stopped when you were right behind me. You stayed close to me always.

That summer we always wound up next to eachother. So close, you were my Romeo. Do you remember our forbidden love?

I never told you this, but you remember how I told you I didn’t like your beard? It was always cuz I loved your face so much more.

I miss you all the time, I hope I’m able to talk to you about these things one day ❤️
