Any tips for the streamers of the community?
Post Body

So at the end of last year I was preparing to start YouTube fairly regularly. Since the new year though I have been very busy with College work (I should be doing coursework in for Thursday instead of writing this) and so I haven't had time to even play games that much, let alone record, edit, render and upload. I decided that I would start streaming on twitch.tv and have only really got very minor success from it.

I first started off using the twitch app on my Xbox One since I was playing destiny and thought "Hey why not." That evening I steamed (streamt?streamded?) for about 3-4 hours. In that time all I had was myself, nightbot and a friend why I usually played with on xbox with. I also met a 'random' guy (someone that found me through twitch and not a friend or bot.) and we had a load of fun. His name was Kris and he enjoyed my stream since I was one of the only people that talked to the chat regularly. (this is what I aim for. I think a good community and talking is more important than a spammy 'Ra1s3 Ur D0ng3Rs 0r R10t' chat)

The thing is this was at the start of the year and since then I have had completely dead streams. If you read this far I just like to say sorry for the life story but thanks. So I have a few questions.
1) How can I advertise myself on twitch without going to other channels and linking/promoting myself? Are there any tips of getting more talking viewers?
2) I know that you can affect YouTube searches with SEO. Is there a twitch version of this?
3) With post editing for YouTube, is there a lower standard for twitch since its harder to stream in 1808p60 than it is to upload a video and there isnt the ability to do voice quality touchups (at least not that I know)
4) Who are your favorite streamers and why do you like them? Are they a more talkative community or a good player?

If anyone knows any publishing companies I think I just wrote the first half of my autobiography. Anyway I'm gunna head to the shower and then do some work (see above) so I might not see any responses that quickly.
