Soundproofing apartment
Post Body

I want to start recording videos and streaming from my new apartment. However I'm an overthinker and like to put myself in the shoes of my neighbors and to that extent I try to be as noiseless as possible. The only one I'm really concerned with hearing me is my upstairs neighbor so finding a way to soundproof at least my ceiling would go a long way towards my own piece of mind.

Also, I would like to know how you guys make your audio sound so crisp and good on your videos. When I record I find either my voice is too low/high compared to gameplay audio or there's a lot of ambient noise in the background that my mic (blue yeti) picks up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I try to get a side career up and running.
