I have three ideas and I want to know what you think. The first two stop you from getting stuck on a day where you HAVE to go back in. Even if its 100% deadly. A lot of people will leave in these situations even if its the last day, despite knowing that they die either way.

1) Upon not meeting quote, have a small chance for your number of days to be extended by one. OR let you go to a moon on day 0 and still get to the company planet if youโ€™re quick enough

2) Have a TINY amount of loot outside. Just one or two. It means that the outside has more explorability and its not such a straight line from facility to ship.

3) This ones just for fun. A facility on a late game moon that shifts and changes when you arent looking. No memorizing your way back to the exit.
