Hi Lovely Ladies and all variations thereupon!

The dating apps have proven horrendous for finding people, but reddit has...not, actually? So I figured I'd throw something out here. :)

I'm a native east coaster who has made her permanent home in this beautiful place. So happy to have bought my first home and gotten fully vaccinated, and ready to have a wonderful summer!

What am I looking for? Mostly, I just want to meet other fun, happy, confident ladies who love ladies for really anything that naturally unfolds, whether that be more casual fun to a serious relationship (I've started to seriously consider the latter more recently, which is a change for me, with the right person.) I'm open to all experiences and am super warm and friendly, so don't be shy!

Mainly I'm attracted to kind, warm, friendly, outgoing femme women (I'm a femme lovin' femme - butches are dope, just not my type. Variety is the spice of life!) Tall is a huge plus but not a dealbreaker. Some interests of mine include anything outdoors related, cooking, traveling, and quite a bit of geek culture (fantasy/epic TV shows or movies, anime, and the like). I'm also very into progressive politics and social issues, and would really love for you to be the same - I love to talk about that stuff with like minded people!

Also, this is important: I'm happily child free and intend to stay that way forever. My only baby is my furry Siamese love, Katara (if you know where that's from, you get bonus points). Something l like to be upfront about from the get go! Single moms of young children (under 15), you're awesome, but I'm not the one for you if you're looking for something serious (casual is fine). I'm not childfree in the "I just don't want any of my own" way, I'm childfree in the "I don't like young kids and don't want to have them in my life in any significant way" way. I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not - I think women apologize way too much for not being maternal, so I try to own/normalize that. If you got started young and your kids are in their teens, that's another story. Let's talk. :)

In any case, I'd love to get reacquainted with the city post quarantine with someone pretty, smart, intelligent, and with an adventuresome spirit. No stoners, heavy drinkers or drug users please if you're seeking long term companionship (occasional or medicinal pot is fine). Politically left, please, so Trumpies and TERFS and all that jazz can keep on scrollin'. Please be sex positive and sexually open-minded, but ok with someone who doesn't have a raging libido (I'm pretty average, but love to experiment sexually).

Also, goes without saying (I'd hope): please be vaccinated or at the very least making plans to get vaccinated. I am fully vaccinated and have been for about a month. If you're convinced the vaccine is mUrKa gEnE sPlIcInG aNd tRaCkiNg uS, oh dear, you have bigger problems than being single (not that being single a problem, but you get my drift).
