I'll start with this, just so you know since these seem to come up often among lesbians online:
- I'm not a gamer.
- I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan.
- I'm not an animal lover--there's nothing wrong with animals, and I like them more with age (Boston Terriers!!!), but I'm just not as into them as a lot of lesbians seem to be and don't particularly want a pet.
- I'm not really all that into movies and modern TV shows. If I watch TV, it's likely to either be sentimental favorites from the 80s and 90s and "omg, I forgot all about that show" (been streaming "USA High" and "California Dreams" on YouTube lately, for example), reality TV (yes, really--sadly, reality TV now seems to be more entertaining to me than all other shows), the news or sports.
- I don't do nature/the outdoors--especially not this coming time of the year (COVID-19 or not). If there's not air conditioning, you can count me all the way out. ;) I'll go to a football game outside, but that's about it.
- I'm sure there is something else I'm missing, but maybe you catch my drift and can fill in the blanks.
Nothing wrong with any of the above if they do apply to you.

Now for a little bit about me, I guess? Well, let's see...
- I'm an INTJ, and, yes, I seem to like ENFPs, if you know anything about that kind of stuff.
- I'm a weird mix of a huge sports fan and an intellectual, two things people seem to think can't be found in one person. March Madness is my favorite sporting event. Attended the Final Four a couple of years ago when my alma mater was in it (bonus points if you can guess the school/team).
- Some of my intellectual interests include psychology, medicine, politics, history, etc. Very into social issues and social consciousness, but not all causes are "mine".
- I recently started my own business (I'll give details about it once I really trust you, lol), so I have two jobs right now (sorry to those who have none--I know these are very tough times, and I'm not one of those people who judges about that type of stuff/requires you to be employed and making a certain amount a year). Technically, I should have been working while I started typing some of this...oops. Kinda see why some employers are hesitant to let employees work from home...
- If I miss anything in quarantine, it's going out to a good restaurant (of course, I'll go to a restaurant and order the exact same thing 95% of the time, but that's not the point, lol). Really, I don't miss anything else (well, except sports on TV, but I'm not complaining about it--more important stuff going on!).
- My last "crush"...was totally not my type, which goes to show this "type" stuff is garbage (or should be). Loved her for her personality. Face was okay, no big deal. She's big, which I can't judge much on my end--plus, that can have its distinct positives. But dammit, her voice, her personality and the intense way she'd look at me sometimes, and, yes, I was big-time turned on. Of course, at my age, every time I like a woman she's married (well, and my [female] boss every time, too, for some odd reason).
- I guess I'm a chapstick lesbian (Urban Dictionary style)? On the internet in the past, women have pretty consistently read my personality as masculine and have tried to cast me in that "role". I'm not big on roles. I think I am naturally just a good mix of masculine and feminine. Physically, people assume I'm straight, for whatever that's worth, but I have a feeling that lesbians with some sense of gaydar get some sort of ping when they see me.

A couple more disclaimers to go with the ones at the top, unfortunately:
- If you have a fairly strict list of the type of woman you're looking for, I'm pretty sure I'm not for you. I pretty much never fit lists.
- Somewhat similarly--and this must be mentioned because I've been through it--if you're the type of person who is not socially or romantically open to all races, i.e. you only like white women or you cherry-pick which races are "attractive" to you, I'm pretty sure I'm not for you.

Okay, now that I have thoroughly eliminated or alienated myself from most lesbians, my question is...is there anyone else left? lol. Or is there at least anyone else who relates to looking at other lesbians' posts/checklists and constantly not fitting them? Then inbox me and let's see if we can be friends, more than friends or just commiserate about how hard it is to "fit in" or to "find the one". I can only guarantee I'll see what you write if it's an inbox message.
