About me: Name's Elaine. I'm 31, single, and live with my cat, Poe, on the GA/SC border. By day, I'm a Nursing student (hoping to be an OR nurse some day) and a private caregiver to someone with special needs. By night, I'm walking around the neighborhood playing Pokemon Go, catching up on anime, or playing something on the PS4. And recently bought a Switch! Definitely having fun in Splatoon and Zelda!

It's always been a doofy fantasy of mine that I'll meet my next girlfriend through reddit, out while playing Pokemon Go, or at a convention in or out of cosplay.

Some important highlights: Monogamous. Demisexual, but I still consider sex an important part of a relationship, doesn't have nor want kids. Okay with long distance for friendships and relationships.

What I'm looking for: Honestly, my daily life is pretty boring. Aside from school and work, there's not much going on, so I'd love it if there was someone I could chat with to break up the monotony. I'd love to have someone to chat with that likes talking about anime, cosplay, video games, and general nerdy stuff. (Hopefully you'll want to play Splatoon 2 together!! I'm also curious about Overwatch.) I hope that you'll be able to use good grammar, can carry on a conversation, and appreciate that I text back quickly unless I'm in class, driving, or asleep, lol. Please be 21 (25 preferred). I don't care what orientation you are, but I'd love more LGBT friends. Just respect me and I'll respect you. :)

Ultimately, I hope to be in a relationship, but, at this point, I'd just be happy regularly texting with someone to make the day go by. I firmly believe in creating a solid foundation - see if we even like each other before taking those next steps. If we stay friends, that's perfectly okay.

I want something real. I'm tired of games and ladies that never put any real effort into getting to know someone. Help me, Reddit - You're my only hope. (Okay, not really, but I wanted to use a Star Wars reference, lolol.)
