So a couple years ago I left the conservative evangelical community in which I was raised, but I never really rebuilt my community after that, so here goes nothing!

About me:

• gender nonconforming butch (she/her)

•I’m mostly agnostic, but I won’t knock your beliefs if you have any (unless you directly ask me for my honest opinion)

• Nature fiend — I spend most of my free time learning about the natural world & could probably give you a handful of fun facts about any field of study within that scope, lol. My primary areas of interest though are marine biology & polar ecosystems.

• Women’s sports ftw!! NWSL, PWHL, and WNBA respectively, but if you have a different sport or league you wanna talk about, I can probably get into it ¯_(ツ)_/¯

• Currently working part-time until I snag a full-time (I’ve got some options in view)

• I write poetry occasionally

• I don’t mind talking about NSFW things, but I also don’t mind not talking about them, I’ll follow your lead as to what you’re comfortable with :)

Things to keep in mind:

• I’m mostly looking for people within my age range (28-35ish)

• I value safety, especially in this current political climate, so if we seem to be hitting it off, I’ll probably ask to move the conversation to Signal

• I will politely listen if you want to tell me about whatever anime you’re into or video games you’re playing, but I won’t be able to match your energy where those topics are concerned

• I have a couple minor chronic illnesses (hormonal long covid), which means that I am not at the top of my game physically, but I really prioritize my health. This also means that some days I’m not able to respond very well or at all, especially when coupled with work. I’m trying to get better at communicating when I’m inaccessible, but I need you to be someone who is okay with me not responding immediately.
