I’m 24, an afrolesbian (that is to say, a black lesbian). I am based in NYC. I work in the healthcare industry, and I am hoping to return back to school next year under the radiation therapy program (wish me luck)!

I am CHILDFREE. I’m hoping to get sterilized in the near future. If that is a dealbreaker, I completely understand. I also don’t do casual or polyamory. I’m dating with the intent of marriage.

I’m a big fan and anime, manga, video games and taking moments of quiet to just rest. I’m more of a listener than a talker, but I do have my moments where the yap-meter goes off the charts.

Reading is a huge part of my identity. I grew up in a library and am constantly surrounded by books. Being literate is a gift that nobody can take from you, make sure you treasure it every day.

In terms of what I’m looking for in a partner, I don’t really care about the whole butch or femme label thing. Appearances don’t particularly matter to me.

However, age does matter to me, I’d prefer someone my age (24) or older but is no older than 30. I also don’t mind if a person is a year younger.

I’m looking for someone that WANTS a committed long term relationship and doesn’t have problems communicating their needs and wants in a way is healthy.

People who are also active in their lives are important, and I don’t mean that in a physical way. I mean those who work hard to obtain their goals, achieve their dreams or just try to be a good person. Just a proactive person.

Also, you can’t be pro-Tr*mp or pro-Israhell, because by supporting those you have decided that you are okay with joining the side of the oppressor and that’s all I need to know.

A person that reads and keeps themself educated is so sexy. Honestly the sexiest thing a person could ever do is have knowledge about the world and its issues. It doesn’t pay to be so individualistic, you must care about all conflict and issues in the world right now.
