Hello, hello, nice to meet you all! I made a mistake in my most recent repost of my search. Here it is a second time. ♡

I’m looking for someone to go slowly with.

I’m 5’2 and a half. Petite. I’m Creole! A woman of color! (Being of color isn’t a requirement, don’t get me wrong. But it’s nice to have someone understand some of my struggles as a dark skinned woman.) My favorite color is princess pink. Everything I own is pink. I love to bake, draw and write. I’m a huge fan of magical girls, classical/romantic film, horror (I’ve seen every Chucky to date. I love films like Coherence, Midsommar, As Above So Below.) and fantasy (Ghibli, Poor Things, Amélie, etc.) I love filmmaking generally and I always have time to discuss the ins and outs of something, or watch movies together! (Sofia Coppola is one of my favorite directors.) Whether that’s watching it at the same time or streaming it together.

I’m actively changing my life. I follow a primarily vegetarian diet. (Me and my bestie call it a mermaid diet right now!) I’m getting a gym membership and I’m gonna start exercising more often too. I work mornings so anytime past 12pm is usually all mine.

I like video games but I won’t lie to you and say I play them all day, everyday. I like MMORPGs, action, adventure, fashion, dress-up, simulation, all sorts of games! My PC isn’t working right now but I played Overwatch, Maplestory, Fortnite, Valorant, League, that type of stuff. Whenever I get the urge to draw I can whip out my iPad and pull up ProCreate and go to town!

But the thing is, I really don’t think being a gamer or an anime fan is a determining factor in stuff like this. I mean, believe me, if someone can excitedly discuss manga with me or we can muse about some of our favorite artists or composers (Yuki Kajiura, Hiroyuki Sawano, NakamuraEmi, Lucia), I’d love it!

But I want to meet people for other reasons beyond being in the same ‘fandoms.’

Lately, I’ve been thinking it could be nice to have someone to talk to as a friend as if we’ve been friends for ages. Just someone I can comfortably chat with without worrying about all the little stuff.

I’m a mushy little hopeless romantic in search of my love, happiness and more. I think I have a cute face. I like pretty, frilly (conservative) clothes. I like pink. I like tea and macaron. I like doing ‘traditional’ things for people I love. I like to bake sweets for my loved ones. (I’m trained and love sharing pictures of things I’ve baked.) I like to cook. I like to clean, etc., etc.
