Hello! A couple of years ago, I made a post on here but to be transparent I was met with a lot of change in my personal life that made dating or pursuing more not a possibility. If we talked at that time, I encourage you to reach out again! I want to say I have grown as a person - and I hope to continue grow more!

A little bit about me - I’m 26F, Latina(Mexican) based in Chicago! It would be great if you were in the area or surrounding area - currently, I don’t drive due to anxiety - but I’m working on it in therapy and attending driving school soon! Commuting is not a problem for me! I was raised Catholic, and though I don’t strictly follow it, I do have some things I follow out of tradition sake or because it is family based. I would want to eventually be a parent - so I wanted to be upfront about that. I also wanted to be transparent and say that I am DACAmented! Being undocumented has shaped parts of my identity, so I wanted to make sure that was out in the open.

I work as a high school teacher; I’m also currently in a Master’s program for literacy and language. My career used to be a huge priority for me, but I am trying to enjoy life a lot more. For that reason, I want to go out on dates and hopefully find my life partner. Currently, I live with my brother, sister, and mother. Family has always been a huge part of my life, and for that reason I’m still living with them at my age (I know that may not align with other cultures). I am also a monogamous individual, and I am not interested in having an open relationship. I am a letter writer (trying to use USPS more) I have started reading a lot more as well. I watch Kdramas with my grandma with Spanish dubbing - but I’m always willing to watch anything recommended to me. I enjoy playing video games, but it is not as big of a part in my life anymore - I hope to one day be able to enjoy them a lot more. I don’t watch movies frequently, and in terms of keeping on trends - usually it is whatever my students are talking about. I’m open to conversations about anything!
