I don't really have any preferences as far as just wanting to find someone kind to talk to and has open lines of communication. I prefer to get to know people slowly and deeply. I don't really want to provide a checklist of things because I know I probably don't fit in them either. To me it's really about the person and less their aesthetics or hobbies. The only thing I'd maybe ask for is someone closer to my age. Not to say I can't talk to anyone younger or older but sometimes it's easier to have aligned goals or dreams when you're of similar age. Either way I'm flexible.
Things to know about me: I mean what I say and want what I say to have intent. There is no reading between the lines with me and I often find that it unsettles people to speak plainly. I prefer the same in return. If I seem quiet, it's usually because I'm thinking of how to say something with purpose.
I am super cognizant and respectful of people's time as well as my own. We all have busy lives and capacity, so as much as I would love to spend an endless amount of time talking to someone, I recognize that that's not always possible, hence having open lines of communication.
