It's been a while since I visited this sub, mostly because I've actually been dating someone (who I met in this sub, woot!) I remember people being open-minded and welcoming, and while I had some negative experiences with some... crazy people, overall I had lots of fun meeting people here.
Today, out of curiosity, I checked this sub, and... Where do I even start. People are all over the place. So many profiles are calling women "females", and while they deliberately walk on eggshells in their introduction (with stuff like "ideally cis women only"), the moment you check out these people's profiles, it is transphobia, complaining about ""woke"", heck even non-feminine (androgynous/masculine) girls are frowned down upon. Add some biphobia to it too, and... oh gosh, things became a huge mess.
What happened? And more importantly WHEN did this happen? Did some lesbians truly forgot how marginalized group we were a few years ago, and STILL we are today? As someone who lives in a country where gay rights are not considered human rights, in fact there is a whole propaganda machine against our "kind", EVEN as a cis woman, I could never imagine going against people who are in the exact same shoes I am.
