Hi! I'm Lauren and I'd love to get to know you. I love to cook, it's one of my passions and how I express affection. My mother taught me that food is the key to the heart. Honey mustard glazed salmon
I'm currently working as a SME for Cloud Computing and taking graduate classes on a part-time basis for my Masters in Computer Science. My short-term goal for this year is to get a promotion and my long-term goal is to accept an executive role in my organization because I would like to make a difference and solve some of the issues that I have examined during my career.
I'm hoping to build a relationship where we compliment our weaknesses and be each others cheer leader. I have autism (they used to call it Aspergers); so, I'm very sensitive to loud noises, bright lights, and crowded places. It's important to me that my partner is willing to learn and understand some of my struggles as they are lifelong conditions. I do live independently and can drive, I just need to be careful about being in crowded and or loud places. I have earplugs that I carry with me that help lower some of these noises.
My love languages are quality time and words of affirmation. I like to help lift up my partner when they're feeling down and show them how much they mean to me by surprising them with custom built items. (I do know my way around building circuits and tinkering with hardware) or just picking something up that made me think of them while I am out.
My bestfriend would describe me as thoughtful, super smart, curious (always learning / trying things) and resilient.
I will leave the rest for you to discover. :-)
P.S: I prefer chat messages as they're easier for me to track.
