I see a lot of posts on here, thought it was about time I threw my big girl pants on post myself.

I plucked up the courage and separated from my husband a few months ago, in the physical and emotional sense we’ve been separated for much longer, years and years.

I’m now on my own again (with the exception of my cat) and very much attempting to not be, I found dating apps awful due to my location or the standard array of couples wanting a 3rd or someone seeking a hookup.

I’m not really about that, no judgement for people that are, just absolutely not my scene.

About me, 5”6, tea drinker, people helper. Some would say jack of all trades master of none, I’d argue I just like a lot of stuff. I like music, I play a handful of instruments (badly) I do sports in the summer, watch sport in the winter. I cook a lot, build a bit and garden a little, but my ambition definitely outweighs my talent when it comes to all. Cozy at home, or out in the middle of nowhere is where I’m happiest.

Trying to get back into reading and to a lesser extent gaming as both have been neglected of late, open to any suggestions!

About the person I’m looking for.. honestly I have no idea, I guess someone I can build a meaningful relationship with, someone I can trust and someone who shares their interests with me, nothing is better than someone being all stoked and enthusiastic about their passions in life whatever they are.

I’m not vain enough to say looks are important, because to me nothing is more attractive than someone can build deep genuine connection with.

I’m pretty shy and not great with small talk, I’d much rather a proper conversation about something, I’m not too great at social media based stuff, but I’m trying my darn best.
