A bit about me:

• She/they.
  
• By day I'm a PhD student (dissertation phase) and my research centers around queer community, sense of belong and other gay things in higher ed.
  
• For fun I sing in a local queer choir, get out and hike locally with my dog (pit rescue, very cliche), spend time with friends and travel when I'm able.
  
• I'm a big believer in therapy and deal with some chronic pain on the daily.
  
• My 2023 Spotify wrapped was filled with boygenius, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and other sad girl indie bops.
  
• I enjoy a nice craft beer on occasion or a margarita with some delish Mexican food. I don't smoke and use weed very sparingly.
  
• I'm more of a "dinner in with a movie" kind of person than a "bar hopping till 3am" person.
  
• Looking for marriage at some point, and the jury's still out as far as my thoughts on kids.

FWIW, goals for 2024 include more reading, more adventures, trying my hand at pottery, and give rock climbing a go.

What I'm looking for:

• Any pronouns, just no cishet men.
  
• Distance doesn't bother me as long as the eventual goal is to close it.
• I find that I vibe best with folks at least somewhat familiar with DEI principles since that's kind of my schtick.
  
• Communication is super important to me - I wanna know what's going on in your upstairs.
  
• I've recently started to indulge my sex and kink sides, so it would be great if you are as well!
  
• At least a few shared interests would be ideal, especially a love for travel.
