Hello! Like I assume many people here on this subreddit, I've had some awful luck dating. So I guess this is my last resort. I'm monogamous and a huge romantic. Not sure what to include here.

I'm tall, slim (and thus fairly flat), long brown hair, white, femme. I'm told I'm beautiful, but I guess there aren't enough lovely lesbian apiarists out there, since beauty is in the eye of the bee holder. I'm also told I'm hilarious and an excellent flirt, but I need to be in a conversation for those qualities to manifest. I wear makeup often and dresses, so I could probably be called a lipstick lesbian, but I don't like that phrase and am only including it so that if someone searches it, this post will pop up.

I like hikes, board games, reading, shows, a wide variety of music but a lot of lighter metal, poetry, dancing, cuddles with my cat, and so on. Basic stuff, nothing wild. I used to play a lot of video games but not anymore; if you game I will gladly play with you though. I am pretty chill and also very willing to try new things. I would love to do a book exchange and music exchange and movie exchange. Fiction I've read this past year includes Neuromancer, Snow Crash, the whole mainline The Black Company series, several manga like One Piece (currently reading Liar Game), and Good Omens. I very rarely drink alcohol and don't touch any other drugs. I call myself a Christian but I'm practically an atheist; it's complicated. I used to be an atheist for a long time but things changed a couple years ago after spending years studying Hegel. I don't practice or attend church or even pray, though. I will probably respect whatever religion you are or are not as long as you're not getting cleansed of thetans, so please do the same for me. Oh, and I love phone calls.

I'd like someone I find attractive, with whom I could hold hands and talk for hours as I gaze into her eyes and we share souls. I am a huge romantic. A monogamous romantic who knows what she wants. I don't care what you do for work. I really am just focused on finding and building a real connection. I have my boundaries and self-respect, but that does not mean I don't believe love isn't worth sacrificing for when there is real potential. I'd say I'm more into femmes, but I had an ex who was more butch who was one of the most attractive people I've ever seen, so who knows? I do prefer people who are at least somewhat fit—I enjoy hikes and other such activities. If there is distance, I would like the goal to be to close the distance eventually. I am looking for something serious, and for someone who can enrich my life with qualities I don't have, someone whom I can prioritize and who can prioritize me. I want to be serious about love.

On the living language front, I also speak some Spanish and a smattering of Hindi. Bonus points if you'd like to watch Bollywood movies with me. I haven't watched any in a minute because they can be so long.
