I'm 27 and a bit of a private person so details will be limited until further conversation. I'm a lesbian and I've had a career (work) going for a few years. I have plenty of time to commit to dating but just not the proximty to a gay population center. When I was younger and lived in a metropolis I would date women off apps just for the hell of it (not for 'hooking up'). It was fun and exciting and I ended up getting a (now ex) gf out of it. But it was part of my growth as a person and I understand what could be improved in a future relationship.

I live in one of the rural parts of the United States so needless to say I haven't met any lesbian or bi women here. I'm just looking for a woman to talk with. Preferably a woman who has had some experience with dating, coming out to family, etc. It's hard to hear about same sex experiences out here and so I guess I'm looking for a bit of a confidant to commiserate with who has gone through it. I'm a little more off the wall than most. I like to make commentary on interesting events, things, people. I think it's fun to trade an article and have a back-and-forth of opinions on it. I can also be a little critical in my humor. I'll make fun of people if I feel they deserve it. There are no 'protected species' from my critiques. Just got Scribd too and I like to read so if anyone wants to trade book analysis or recommendations have at it.

I could put more but I'll just say I hang around the conspiracy subreddit because its fun to see what kind of ideas they come up with there. They're kind of creative.

Edit to add: I have a married lesbian friend who I used to converse with on a regular basis for a couple of years but she and her wife are trying to have kids now. I'm basically looking for someone to fill that void who can converse on interesting topics. She was more of a techie than I am but we still had fun.
