TLDR: Cute, funny, precocious, woman out-of-her-time with wisdom beyond her years looking for a friend (or more) who is chronologically older but emotionally and intellectually in sync.
Hey there. I'm Mollie.
Labels are a weird thing, aren't they? The WLW world (as I've discovered in the short time since I found this new side of myself) is very very fond of them, and they're convenient as hell, but also really limiting and....somewhat unintentionally disingenuous?
But sometimes they also make sense, even when you resist using them.
Up until about seven months ago, I was the most basic of basic white girls. So basic I had a pH of 13 (lol). Yknow, totally straight and vanilla, with a 3.9GPA, a shitty service industry job, a love of retro music, books, and movies, a wardrobe straight from H&M, the whole deal.
Even with all that, I never really felt comfortable. Not with my identity, nor with my peers. I really felt a stronger connection with people my parents' age (which I guess can be interpreted in many ways), than I did with anyone my age.
Then, I had a sort of unexpected formative experience. I won't get into the details here, but you can peruse some of my past posts to get the gist of it.
That specific experience is over now. I learned a lot from it, and I'm starting to accept this side of myself, as weird as it may seem.
If any of this piques your curiosity, please DM me. Introduce yourself with some fun little bon mots about yourself and also your age.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
