So, I'm literally not anyone's "type," and I hate online dating and...well...dating, period. I'm done with it, just so you know upfront.
That said, any women here in their 40s or 50s who are obsessed with the good ole days, i.e. music from the 80s and 90s, old sitcoms, and want to geek out about that stuff (i.e. share YouTube videos and playlists, talk about our favorites, etc)? I'm not a movies person, though I saw a few back then (really used to love "Clueless," "Dirty Dancing," "The Last Dragon")...but I love old music and old shows.
I've asked this on a couple of penpal subs, but I keep getting guys who swear up and down that they like all kinds of music...and then only can talk about 90s alternative with a side of rap/hip hop thrown in. I'll tell ya right now...my favorite singer/musical act of all time is Celine Dion. If you can't hang with that type of music, don't bother, lol. We can do a Celine vs Whitney vs Mariah debate if you want, or a Prince vs Michael debate--this is what I need to escape these crazy times we live in. I love 90s alternative and 80s rap, but I want to talk about the other music from way back, too. I saw someone on another sub asking for TLC recommendations aside from "Waterfalls" and "No Scrubs," and it made my night. I was only too happy to give recommendations--loved TLC.
Reddit WLW ladies in your 20s and 30s, you seem to have your demographic covered. No disrespect, but I'm tired of not being able to relate to WLW (or anybody) on Reddit. Older lurkers, I want to hear from you (even if you don't want to talk about old music/shows, don't be shy)! I've got chat turned off--too much harassment there--but you can go to my profile and message my inbox.
