It's quite the feeling catching up with an old friend you had briefly dated and learning that they are dating your most recent ex
Post Body

Who broke up with you and disappeared from your life shortly after your dog died.

Feeling lots of things. It was a complicated situation and I really did my best. I asked for a little care (just a check in once in a blue moon so I knew I was still cared about) in the breakup which was initially agreed to before being "too much" and "not how I do friendship.."

It's been a long while since I was so upset about it. It's hard being told that someone wants a romantic relationship with you and then once you're really stepping into and feeling safe in those emotions to be told that they were wrong about what they wanted and are aromantic (whilst maintaining and growing other romantic relationships?)

Get offered friendship and told by her that she still cares about you only for her to bother making contact with you twice and not once asking how you are or showing any interest in your life.

But this is why I'm not dating new people right now.
